Engine wont start
I am not sure what my problem but the car has been sitting for a week while I have been at school. Changed the valve gaskets because they where bad and the plugs and wires. Now it won't run. I believe it is getting gas because I can smell it as the engine turns over and it sounds as if it is tring to fire.
I did and it has enough. THe car turns over but just won't fire. I can get it to a point where it will turn over and try to run and go at like 200 rpm but it only does that if I continuously hold the key turned. I think after I eat lunch I am going to put the old plugs back in and see what happens.
okay went down and got it to run with the new bosch spark plugs but it was running horribly and was back firing. figured i go back to the original plugs and see what happens. switched them all and they did the same thing. it is ideling at 700 RPMS. Usually when I start it it idels alot higher than that and once warmed it goes back down.
Any ideas what maybe happening? I have only replaced the rubber valve gaskets, plugs, and wires.
