Its like an old german engineer taught me when i first started diagnosing cars. "The bigger the problem, the easier the solution" Meaning if you have a ton of electrical problems its probably a fuse, or tons on engine faults are due to a poor electrical connection etc.

 

The reason you adapt it is to tell the throttle body module how much the valve is open or closed.
