Didn't the ancient Chinese invent "the drone torture" as kind of a sibling torture to the old favorite water torture or the bamboo shoots up under the finger nails torture? If I remember correctly, the Drone Torture is described as "the continuous bellowing of a sick Yak for a sufficiently long period of time to drive the enemy insane" by Sun Tzu in his second century BC treatise The Art of War.

Then again, I may just be having a “senior moment”.
