I guess I parked too close to a kerb and that ripped the fender off when i backed out. It has not gone away but is hanging like a torn jaw and the plate that covers the engine is also hanging out, scraping the road at times. Local mechanics charge about 2 hours of labor, ranging from $150 - $200. I stay at Stamford, and I have heard that Bronx has very good deals on these kinda stuff... Is that true? In which case, I'll prolly go there tomorrow morning...

Any advice? And yes, I have $500 deductible, so cant get anything from AIG!
