Im about ready to install a ebay fmic on my 00' a4 1.8tQ tip -with some other mods. I was looking through the engine though and i noticed the map sensor hook up... what do i do about that?? I was thinking about just welding 2 pipes on each side to use less connections... Do i need to include that map settup or is there a flange set-up/kit. Because even though mine has both a maf and a map it will run like $*&% if i dont include the MAP... I have researched but havent found much... What have other people done, what should i do???

 

ok go figure as soon as i post i see in the related treads a diy for this even though after extensive search... but please go ahead and feel free to voice your opinions and show me premade kits...

 

Here is a link to a weld on map sensor bung. Some people do other things than this though. Hope it helps
