To tell you the truth Ebaying anything for my Audi scares me and then you throw in that they are half what anybody else wants which makes me remember the phrase "too good to be true" and I'm thinking Chinese garbage for sure. Thanks for the link but quite honestly they scare me. I have proven that an Audi can drive on 3 wheels with an old 5000 but I don't care to try that again. Thanks for the link though.

He was actually talking to me since he wants a price on the parts that he has posted about on this thread(febi control arm kit, rotors and brake pads).

 

I guess I learned my lesson of why to always quote, lol.

 

hi i need to buy complete suspension and was wondering if you ever did find a good deal... id like to know what you went with and how it worked out...

 

He had to hold off on buying a kit, rotors and pads since he just didnt have the money at the time.

I gave him a price of $489 for a Febi Control arm kit which includes upgraded tie rod ends.

 

Maybe u guys can help me out...i was given an 1998 a4 1.8 fwd audi for graduation but needs a lot of work... and its been my project car.. i have done some work to it but needs new suspension.. But would like to upgrade to a better setting...(anything as i will install suspension myself)... Spending limit is $1500.. I guess what im trying to say is... What would u do in my situation.. What else would u upgrade.. (anyhing suspension even brake pads, anything)

 

personally if you're not looking to spend anything in the near future after that..... that front end kit with brakes all the way around and a new set of sneakers for her. Oh and the oil change with good synthetic and the big filter. That should leave you pretty sound for a while.
