So I filled up my tank this morning right before dropping off the kid to skool, and as always for the last few weeks iv'e had this strong gasoline oder in the car. It always happens when i fill up the tank, and the oder is there for about aday or so. Anyone else has a similar problem or has had it? I mean last thing i want is to turn on the car in the drive way and all of a sudden blow up, or even pass out with driving!

 

This happened to my 2.8 when I first got it last month. Your fuel filter is probably leaking. It cost me 240 bucks to fix when all was said and done. My mechanic didn't have to drop the tank (another $430 plus 7 hrs. of labor).
