I have that gauge installed in my car (stock 99.5 A41.8tQM) I mounted it in a pillar pod and i love it. It looks great and preforms well. I am a mechanic so i have a vacuum gauge in my tool box i hooked it up to compare vacuum readings from the guage and they were spot on. It looks great lit up and was very easy to install.

Got my UPS tracking number, expected delivery is the 24th. Damn, not much time to mess with it before I leave, but I'll be sure to get it in and take some pics before I go. I'm trying to think or a nice, but original place to install it now as a DIY. The more I think about it, the less I want it in one of my vents. It will look too out of place for me...

I'm also considering a column mount, but I don't want it to interfere with my instrument cluster...

Anyone want to post some pics of some set ups they have, or have seen? Thanks for the help!

If I have to, I'll just do the vent DIY, but I'm scheming up some good ideas in my head. I don't want to let the cat out of the bag yet though, because some of them might be a little crazy...

I also urgently need to install a boost gauge. The vent option DIY is just too much work for me. So its pilar pod or steering column.

Can you guys upload some pics here of actual installs for the 2 versions?
And sources (for the gauge AND the pods)?
