so i was driving to tahoe today and got hit by a rock on the freeway and now have a chipped windshield, its really small but i dont want it to get bigger
what should i do? can this be fixed?

 

that sucker is going to spread over every major bump you hit. Automotive shops my have a small repair kit consisting of epoxy i believe (not sure what it is really). It's in a tube and is a small fix until getting a glass place to fix it properly.

It's worth a shot.....if not, start looking for a glass place nearby.

 

if it's rly small, they can actually fix it and it'll look brand new. do you have auto glass insurance? in NYS, if you have full coverage, windshield fixes are free

 

Any decent auto glass shop can fix it for cheap. A few years ago when the wife and I were buying her car, she noticed a small chip. They fixed it before I bought the car, and it never became a problem. You can barely tel it was ever chipped.
