Any way though with that much weight over the front wheels it would be worthless around any corner.

I agree that I shouldn't get the new engine installed. It was just a funny concept. I love my car. I love my 2.8L 30v engine even though it is damn near impossible to find great quality parts for it without destroying my bank in the process. It is like the feel of the car and its sounds and smoothness is comparable to poetry in motion.

See, I can be deep.

well if you are going thru the trouble to put such a large engine in, you are probably doing it to go fast, and you probably want to save weight especially forward of the front wheels so most people who run a stand alone system would remove the A/C.

there are however some computers that control the A/C with some modification, i think the 034 IIc one does, and the AEM computer should. but you are right, most of the cheaper EMS controllers do not run the A/C.

400whp is nothing in the A4, plenty A4 1.8t's running around with that power or more. I am actually looking to make 800whp with my 1.8t sooner or later but at this time am working on hitting 650whp with the setup I have now which has already put down 630whp.

Hmm *scratches his beard*
Me thinks that putting chevy small blocks in everything is just one of those hopeless American things we over here just don't even concider. Make race cars out of these cars, but don't make them muscle cars

I would pick a inline 4 or 6 with a huge turbo over going NA V8. Not sure I would want to go backwards in power at this point. lol

yeah I dont understand the "throw a V8" into any car, I guess some people cant learn anything new by doing something to the motor that actually came with the car to make big power.

Well the reasons for the V8 in anything is simple. There is no replacement for Displacement. I am all for making a 1.8l or a 2l 4-banger scream like a bat out of hell but logistically, you always will have A) more and B) better power from a larger engine.

Yeah, i do friggen love the feel of a turbo spooling. but that punch-you-in-the-back-of-the-head instant torque from a good v8 is d@mn good too

Sure there is, its called Technology. This is why even the largest displacement engines go Force Induction to make even more power. Do you really think a Nitro NHRA drag car is going to make 8000hp without the super charger? LOL Hell no

BTW I was just saying that if it came down to having my 1.8t setup vs a NA V8, I would keep what I have now since the NA V8 is going to have a limit of how much power its going to make without having to strap a 250hp nitrous kit on the car.
