i didnt literally mean what i said is a joke, i meant that the guy who told me that is a joke, he also said that i could start my car, it could take off, and could drive right through the wall in my garage. And secondly what are the odds of my car going 10 miles an hour at idle and killing someone, i'd understand hitting them, but honestly how ridiculous.

 

yes if you leave a manual car in gear and remote start in it can case some major damage when i work at soundtrack years ago another installer did a remote start on a z06 vette which was a mt and when the sales man pulled it around front to show the customer how it worked he had left it in gear and remote started it the car went over the curb into the front of the store not a pretty sight.

and when i did my audi's alarm i had a diagram from directtech (dei) and it gave good locations but the color wasn't always right it was just a good thing that i know how to use a muti-meter.
any german car is not a first time alarm or remote start car start with a honda or toyota till you get somethings down just my 2 cents
