ok so i got my new gt2871 installed cause my gt28rs blew and all was well and great for a few days. I have uni software and 440cc injectors and the car was hauling. Now all the sudden boost seems to stop at 10psi then slowly creep up to 21psi by the time im at 7k rpm. Also when i start my car cold it starts then immediately shuts off as if the fuel was cut. then it wont attempt to fire for another 5 minutes and after repeating this process it usually takes about a half hour for the car to actually fire and stay running. Then i have to let it warm up before i can drive or it will stall again. Please help!!! also there is no limp mode on my ecu.

 

oh and i performed a boost leak check and heard no leaks except i heard oil bubbling in my motor but im not sure if that is normal or not. And i tried running the car without the maf connected and without the n75 and same issue.

 

fuel pump sounds like its shot. maybe evn a clogged fuel filter... as for oil bubbling, i seriously doubt its oil and rather coolant. What are your temps reading?

 

my temp guage is dead center so its not too hot. It only bubbles when i do the pressurize test for boost leaks. sounds like it comes from the engine. My fuel pump is a brand new 225 fuel pump from atp. Fuel filter is also brand new and was done the same time. Are there any sensors that i should check for that would make my car start then immediately shut off. Is there something that would cit the fuel or cause my throttle to not fully open or something. My car is a drive by wire car so idk.

have a update. I put in a new manual boost controller and got my boost to peak at 20 psi at 3200rpm but when the rpms get higher it keeps boosting over 20psi higher and higher. I checked compression in cylinders and got 180psi across all of them and also checked for boost leaks again and i still only hear bubbling from inside the engine. I am also still having the no cold start issue. I checked my fuel pump and noticed that with the fuel line disconnected the car only squirts fuel out intermittently when i turn the key. It will squirt then stop then it wont then ill turn the key on again and it will squirt then stop again. Only when the engine is cold. I checked the relay and nothing.

 

Friend of mine had the same problem a couple of years ago. He's running the same set up...GT2871R with Walbro 225lph fuler pump and 440 injectors but his car is drive by cable. The reason it wouldn't start is because it was flooding the cylinders with gas during cold starts. Unfortunately, I can't remember how he finally fixed the problem.
