Hi,

I have a 1998 Audi A4 Automatic. I was drivingthe car last night, and it just stopped when I was at 100km/h. It worked its way down through the gears as I pulled over with no strange engine noises. I got it towed to a garage and they looked at it but dont know what to do with it. The following codes came out of the scan:

18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30: Voltage too Low Audi A4
16885 - Vehicle Speed Sensor: Implausible Signal
01119 - Gear Recognition Signal

I was told by one mechanic a whie ago that the transmission was leaking, but then a friend (mechanic) told me that it was rubbish and it is an oil leak. The oil leak isnt a bad one at present.

Can anyone help me as to what it could be? Bit scared if it is the transmission as its aright off, but I am hopeful someone here might give me some hope before the garage looks at it.
