Default HELP!! CEL Codes

Hey guys!

So yesterday my 1997 Audi a4 1.8T threw a CEL
I ran the codes and I got these two:
P0301 - Cylinder 1: misfire detected
P0300 - Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected

My MAF sensor is burnt out from running too rich but i don't think it could have thrown these codes. So that's what I'm asking. What should I do? Can it be fixed? Serious or minor problem?

I'm currently running stock everything except I have a K&N drop-in air filter and Custom 2.5" Cat-Back Exhaust w/ Vibrant TPV Muffler

Thanks!

I should also add that the car seems to run a little sluggish first 10 or so minutes after starting her up. When I'm in 3rd gear and i go past 4500 RPM's my exhaust sounds like it's backfiring but I'm not 100% positive what it is. It seems to be guzzling gas more than usual but I think thats from the MAF sensor not the misfire (correct me if I'm wrong)

0301 is a misfire on cylinder 1. 0300 is a misfire catchall code. Your idle and mileage suffer because you have a cylinder not working right. That backfiring is a misfire occurring. Swap coil packs and see if the misfire moves. If it follows the coil, replace the coil. If not, look at changing at least the #1 plug, with the gap set properly, and run Seafoam through the gas to de-**** the injectors.

I don't see how it would - it's upstream of everything. It's more likely to have died of natural causes.

Thanks guys! Just Swapped coil pack 1 & 3 and then cleared the codes then I drove about 250 miles. And the code hasn't shown up yet. She's definitely running better.
