I have no boost on my car. It idles, but occasionally the RPMs jump around at idle and I won't be able to move. It's getting worse and more frequent as time goes on. Here's what I have replaced.

1) N75 valve
2) Diverter Valve
3) Pancake Valve
4) Cranckcase breather box
5) Some check valves

I don't believe I have a vacuum leak. There are no codes on the car when I ran them. I'm now at a loss. Any ideas?

 

Do a search for "boost leak checker" and make one to try out - that'll help you see if you have a leaking line. You can order vacuum line at www.siliconehose.com (3.5mm ID) and replace everything - never a bad idea especially on your 1.8T.

I built the boost checker and I'll see how it goes this weekend. I'm guessing I am going to find that my waste gate is broken in which case I think I need a new turbo. I'm thinking K04 if anyone can suggest where to get one. (ECS any good?)

Also there's a new problem. I seem to be losing 1 cylinder on the highway and occasionally when I'm stopped. Is this a coil thats starting to fail. No codes or CEL yet which is a pain. What are the chances this is bad gas?

 

It's really hard to move the arm that controls my waste gate. Is the diaphragm that controls this activated by vacuum or pressure?

 

Took the cat off. Plunger is gone on my waste gate. New turbo?
