help with new clutch! ! ! !

Default help with new clutch! ! ! !

ok, i need to get a new clutch mine is almost gone!! so instead of getin the stock one replaced i was thinking of getting a racing clutch kit since i am going to add some mods...soo i guess what im asking is any suggestions on what kind of clutch i should get...my car as of now is a completely stock 01 a4 1.8 quattro 5 speed, in a couple of months i am gettin either apr, bsr, or neuspeed chip, full exhaust, nd K&N air filter....

southbend (dxd) clutches are the best bang for the buck. if your not planning on upgrading your turbo, get a stage 2 or 3 and never have to worry about replacing it again.

I would say stage 3

southbend is an amazing clutch...

I helped install one on my friends a4, the clutch feel is exactly the same as stock and the nice part is you can just beat on it all day...

ok cool....yea im thinking of upgrading my turbo...proly a garret "elim" if i get this then i should get a SB stage 4? or can the stage 3 handdle it?

Yes the stage 4 is what you will want.

stage 4 is still as durable as they say bout stage 3 or will it wear out faster....i mean im not gonna freakin launch the car all the time only once in a while soo im goin to abuse it at times but not too excessively...

The stage 3 and stage 4 from SB uses the exact same disk which is the OFE. Only difference between the 2 is that the stage 3 uses the HD pressure plate and the stage 4 uses the SS.
