Combination switch is likely - they fail a lot, in a lot of ways. $158ish new and easy to install although you have to pull the airbag which makes some people nervous.

Just did this, and I'm working on a writeup. PM me with any questions. You shouldn't be nervous about the airbag. Disconnect the battery and lay on the horn. It shouldn't honk, but it'll be sure to help drain residual power. I let it sit an hour as well. No problemo.
