If you have side-curtain airbags, avoid mounting it on or around the pillar... it could become projectile!

I like the steering column mount, but it blocks the gauge cluster display.

I think the vent is the best place to view it, but it is kinda costly. But then again, sometimes you pay for what you get. I'm in the same dilemma.

How about a red LED digital boost gauge...?

Like this, maybe mounted in a pod in place of the ashtray:

Since you have blue lights, maybe this:

Or, if you have silver gauges, there's this one too:

Unfortunately, most of these only go up to 23psi. But they're something different.

Search http://www.SummitRacing.com for "boost gauge." They have all sorts of cool ones.

Heres what mine looks like. I just cut a hole in the left middle vent and mounted it in there.

Oo! Sorry to thread-jack, but what is that in place of your radio and is it nav-capable?

Whoa I thought they didn't make A-pillar gauges anymore! I looked around for ever. Aint this a mother-fkr! Well I bought an A-Pillar pod of a Civic for $15 and reshaped it myself, molded it low on my pillar to stay away from the A-bag and it looks tight. Plus the gauge was a gift so it was all like $20. I didn't want to get the vent gauge cuz EVERYONE has that on their Audi. Steering column wasn't my cup of tea exactly and even if a lot of ricer do have it on their A pillar barely any euro's do so I'm being unique in my own sort of way. Plus its hardly visible from the outside.

Thatinfo is wrongand has been passed around for many years. Mounting a gauge on the A pillar will not become a projectile because the cover does not come off when the curtain air bags deploy. Only the top section of the piller gets pushed away to allow the curtain to come out from there and the headliner, I mean if you think about it if your gauge was going to be a projectile so would the A-pillar cover and that would already be a safety issue straight from the factory.
