looks like I will need to read about the difficulty of putting a bigger turbo on it so after a year or 2 I can do it. I really only know about old "tractor" turbos they put on turbo dodges so it will be fun to educate myself on these newer turbos. Instead of getting rid of my old T3 garret turbo I may see about getting it rebuilt with a audi turbine and compressor housing and put it on if it will fit.

here is my old car (1997 a4 1.8t quattro) with an APR chip, exhaust, and bigger front mount. This is at the wheels uncorrected for altitude (i'm in Boulder CO about a mile above see level)... so you WON'T be making 200 at the wheels with just a chip... if you want to feel better about yourself you can say that you make 200 at the crank but not the wheels... it is significantly quicker after you chip them though, i've stayed with several wrx's and such...

like someone said, if you tune this car like a dodge it will blow up in your face, everything has to be really precise.

you can see how the PSI drops at 4,500 rpm because the turbo can't keep up with all the air.

they always advertise horsepower at the crankshaft, not at the wheels. on a quattro figure 22% drivetrain loss. so if you have 300 crank hp, its only 234 at the wheels.
