hey all i have a 1999 a4 1.8t.
the car is automatic and i am trying to do some resurch on the car.
1. what are the difrinces between the 150, 170 and 180hp moters other than maping? i want to get a custum chip bilt for the car but i want the car chiped as if it were the 180 or 170hp hoter.

2.dose any one know how much safe WHP i can put out on a automatic transmition?

it can handle as much HP as you can give it - Torque on the other hand is a different story - try to stay under 300 - biggest tubro you should think about is a GTRS Elim from ATP.

 

i was thinking of just puting a k03s if i was even gona change the turbo im not planing on going to crazey.

 

their isn't really a difference between a k03 and a k03s once you chip your car...
