I have a 97 1.8t, automatic. A repair shop mistakenly put in red ps fluid which caused hard turning and groaning pump. I had the pump rebuilt and put in a new radiator as well. I filled the reservoir with correct Audi fluid and got all the bubbles out by raising the car and turning the wheel from lock to lock 10 times. But now there is now power assist at all in the steering. There are no leaks, the pump is quiet, but the v-belt deflects 1/2 inch. Is there still old fluid in the rack? How to get rid of that stuff?
