Default How would YOU Retire 2 A4 B5s??

What should I do with my 2 B5s? Part them out, or take a low-ball offer???

I would like ANY and ALL ideas on what YOU would do?

I'm a little attached and they run perfectly….but, I no longer need them and want to either find them a good home, or sell the organs….but, selling the organs requires room to do surgery……

Here's a run down:

1998 A4 Gold Quattro 2.8 30V 5-Speed manual….279XXX miles (not a typo)…no rust….interior clean besides the 2 rips in driver's seat…LED AFTERMARKET headlights…..No dents…..aftermarket black outside mirrors, headlight washer covers are black as well…..

Still runs like a bat out of hell on the interstate and in town-no misses-no codes….everything works (EXCEPT cruise control)…timing Belt, water pump, thermostat etc done at 269,000…..no shakes or vibrations at high speed….

New Parts within the last 5000 miles:
Tires 215s
Heater Core
All Control Arms
New Springs and Shocks
New Windshield
Brakes and Rotors
ABS sensors (4)
Airbag Module
New Fuel pump
New fuel filter
Battery
Plugs
All Vacuum hoses replaced
..and some more **** I probably forgot I did……

Bad
Couple rips in drivers seat
Demonic sunroof (never got around to fixing it)
Cruise control doesn't work
Donut Spare is SHOT
Probably going to need a clutch soon…..

1997 A4 Black Quattro 2.8 12V 5-Speed manual….215XXX miles …no rust….interior/Exterior SUPER clean…no dents….completely stock…..tinted windows…..6 CD changer in trunk……Still drives like a dream…..ALL service records since DAY 1 INCLUDED!!!!!

EVERYTHING works, no codes…..missing bottom driver's side black molding….extra complete set of control arms comes with it

Timing Belt, water pump, thermostat etc done at 163,000…so it's gonna need it soon again…when I eyeballed it, it still looks great though…..clutch may need to be done soon…..new control arms, new brakes, new windshield within the last 3000 miles….

Both have leather interior, power driver's seat, power mirrors, heated front seats, sunroof etc….Also, BOTH have had regular oil changes (synthetic) and the BOTH do NOT LEAK or LOSE and fluids!!!

So, what would YOU do if you were in my situation????

I could upload TONS of photos, but you can always look in my GARAGE…..…..

Thanks guys and gals….Let me have those opinions……

Marky

Step two- buy another b5
step three- profit

If you don't need them, and it sounds like you're not all that inclined to keep them, I'd sell them as they sit. No need to take up a lot of time, space, and effort, and they seem to be in good shape and ready to keep going for some time. Advertise them as great student cars or winter backups, add $500-700 to what you'd accept for them, and sell them while they're in the shape to attract buyers.

Sell them while you still can. With the miles they presently have its just a matter of time before something goes bad (like the cltches). The value of a vehicle you can drive home compared to one that needs towed over a bad clutch is significant.

If your not attached that is.....

Trust me I just came to terms and sold my rust/chum bucket AE86 genuine GTS. I was driving it to the new owners home and it broke down 100 ft before his driveway.
