Yes, i agree that the switch needs modification for this to work at all. I understand what you are saying thow, my uncles new VW has an engagement point that is very close to the floor, it may be that he has a bran new clutch or the tranny but gettin that car into gear is so easy i barely realized it went into gear. It was so smooth, i really like the engagement point close to the floor. I just think its easier to drive as a whole. i would look into this mod if i has uber amounts of time to tinker. But womans studies is making me want to kill myself and my teacher.

BTW - They sell really nice adjustable ones for BMW's. Ive seen then in Bavarian Auto Sport. Real Clean looking, universal.
