1997 audi a4 2.8 quattro
Engine code - AFC (12v)
It idled rough, then sat off for 45 minutes, and then won't start. fuel pump primes, engine turns over great. but no spark. is it the coils?

not yet, unable to get a code reader, hopefully today. It's not my Audi, it's a friends, so i'll see what he's doing.

 

Yeah you'll need to scan first. There are so many possible issues that the codes will be the best way to begin.
