Well... just tried it. Both chin and temple...and, well, it works! Got almost double the range

You have to be looking at it though...

you guys are nuts lol. i wouldn't use yourself as an antenna. you get enough exposure to radiation already, you don't need more lol. next thing i hear is one of you wearing a hat with a 2 foot metal rod sticking out of it and then you put the remote to your head and get a mile range hahahaha

 

LOL - it is not radiation, dude... its radio frequency, which we are bombarded with everyday via radio station broadcasts.

on topic - I have actually tried to increase my range by extending the antenna wire but it did not work.

 

Holding it to your chin definitely works. It's an old trick. And Brrman is right, it's radio waves, not radiation.

How far do you really want to increase the range? Why do you need to unlock it from across the parking lot?

 

lol ive been doing that since i got my car, these remotes suck with range even with new batteries

 

I just tried that the other day and I didnt notice anything different either. I'm gonna check again to make sure everything is good.....
