Default Installing new stereo

Hello, I just bought a 1997 Audi A4 quattro non-bose (I assume its not bose because it doesn't say bose anywhere and there are no rear door speakers) stereo and want to put my old cars aftermarket head unit in. I was reading that its possible to use the factory amp with the new hu. (Do I even have a factory amp without the bose?) I also went to change the door speaker and saw there were more connections to it that just +/- and left it alone. If I just install the new hu with the harness will everything work fine? Or will I have to get another harness for the amp? I don't care of I use the factory amp or not I just would like to avoid running new speaker wires. Sorry if these are obvious questions but I am new to the cars.

Thanks

The rear amp is located under the drivers side rear speaker. All the wires in the door panel control everything but the speakers, if you get looking closer, then you will see that there is a two wire connector that connects to the speakers, i have found that the stock stereo puts out a extremely high or low ohm signal to the speakers, but should be fixed if you are planning on doing a hu. I am putting my hu in next weeks, so ill let you know how it goes.

If you get a wiring harness then everything should be plug-and-play but the quality of some speakers might be worse and others better. I have BOSE and after putting in an aftermarket hu the only speakers that suck are the ones in the front doors.. might be cuz theyre shitty and need replacement haha but yeah you should be fine with running with the stock amp.
