Hi, I have wired up a sub and an amp. I have gone to install my new Alpine stereo and the Harness doesnt fit. On the speaker covers it doesnt say the speakers are Bose, but are they? Its a 2002 3.0 A6. Which Harness do I use?

 

I had to go and buy a new special harness from best buy in order to install mine in.

 

yea same thing for me. i bought one on ebay and it was not wired up correctly at all. went to bestbuy and got the correct one.

 

U know what the name of it is? Ill head down there now

 

Just tell the guys that you have an audi they will tell you exactly which harness you need. I don't think there is a specific name for it.

 

I got the harnes sbut its just for the power cable etc, does not accept the speaker cable

 

u had to get it for the car with stock amp and sub.

 

u dont happen to have a pic of the harness do you?

 

u couldnt pay me enough to take that stereo out again with what it took to get it in lol. i know it was one big black one that took 2 clips, and another red one that took just one, and that had the amp outs.

 

Mine jus had the 2 ports, no others, ill go to an audio shop, see what they got for me.
