Default Internal turbo Actuator broke. Options

Hey guys. the internal actuator on our Audi A4 Quattro 1.8t turbine broke. Of course dealership said the entire assembly would have to be replaced, with that in mind. Has anyone gone aftermarket? Which brand and size worked well? Any links?

Default 1998, Dealership

I had read that only the 1999.5 and up have a replaceable actuator. I do not know this to be a fact. Ive yet to disassemble it. But I can clearly see where the actuator arm is disconnected from the throttle body. And the assembly is new to me, it appears to have had a spring loaded clamp on the arm at one time below the throttle body "wing" opening arm.
I was told at dealership that 1998-1999.5 had a different K03 with a internal actuator that cant be replaced. Several little quick fixes have occured to me. But this is the wifes car and carries children regularly. I need it daily functional. It runs fine, just alot of power missing.
Redline.. Id gladely buy your actuator(Audi OEM?), cause I have Nissan ones laying around in shop.(Hopefully on shelves!) What do you want for it? In case I get lucky. But its not vacuum advanced from a BOV like Im use to. How does that arm install to the throttle body?
Im most familiar with the ball type arm that connects right to throttle assembly.
Thanks Ivan
