Issue removing headlight for defective HID

You will be MUCH happier with these!

I forgot to mention before. If you plan to run without one of the bulbs, you should also unplug the ballast for that side. Otherwise, it will continuously try to strike the missing bulb and could damage the ballast or ground out on something else.

im having the same problem getting the driver side bulb out, the passenger side came out easily but the driver side bulb wont budge when i turn it counterclockwise. any special trick to getting it out?

Thanks for the help everyone. I ordered them in 4300K. Just need to wait until they arrive in Washington State for pickup.

In the meantime I unplugged the harness supplying power to the low and hi beams.

Both headlamps functioned the same for my vehicle. A counter clock turn and then removal of the clip.

You're not turning the bulb CCW, only the socket. Sometimes it helps to push in while turning. The bulb itself is held into the housing by two small wire retainers. You just pinch these together and lift.
