yes that happens when the engine is running.

 

I still think its the alternator. They aren't that expensive if you can replace it yourself.

 

you are right i when to get it check and its about that time i replace it its just begining to mest up i think what also killng my battery is when i lock my car and the alarm turns on the red alarm light usually starts blinking and stays blinking but sometimes the light just stays on . so now i make sure it stays blinking and ever since my battery hasnt died
