So being bored and fartin around on the forums came across this little guy.

Do a search on it for pics and directions. But basically it increases the FM range for your keyless entry by a ton!

Did it today and was freaking shocked! I had a good 10-12 foot range before which from what i hear is actually pretty decent. Lengthened the wire per the instructions and I was at LEAST 160 ft away and was still able to arm the central locking system. How insane is that, i mean sure you dont neeeeed to lock/unlock your car from that far away. But haven't u been in that situation where your scratching your head saying "Where the hell did i park my car", well now you can set off the alarm and listen to ur horn, find ur car I know i needed it, anyways just thought i would pass the word on!

 

Yeah he hasn't really posted since he wrecked that yellow S4, he's a pretty smart dude, from what i remember he ownes a yellow EVO, and a silver porsche that replaced it.

 

I've always kinda wanted to increase that antenna but never knew where it was and didn't care enough to search... I'll do this probably within a week

AudiTech, do u know what kinda porsche he drives? I work on them thats why im pose the question. Do u know any way to pm him? Or what other forums he gets on?

 

If it's the guy I'm thinking of, he got a 996-gen C4S. And yeah, I did the mod earlier this year and it works very well.
