The Journey :| Rebuild of engine?
Lately, the answer to that has been YES lol. Swapping another axle in her TT tomorrow. If that doesn't fix the clunk I'm rolling it into a pond.
Well I decided to sell my honda, the transmission seems like its about to go out in it, and i'm not ready to drop 3k or more on an automatic. I'm gonna save the money from that and put into getting a house, but now I have been able to find a reason to use damn near my entire paycheck on my A4
. So I went to autozone I think my clutch is fixed, someone said I was stepping on it way to hard, which I wasn't but oh well its shifting for now. I got these engine codes from the check engine light
P0108 <--Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
P0321 <--Ignition Engine Speed Input Circuit Range/Performance
P1476 <--leak detection pump insufficient vac
the guy at auto zone pulled these codes for me...he wouldn't even give me any real detail he was trying to run me out of there saying VW and Audi are completely different...and I'm like this is the same engine in VW passats. Anyway there are some differences but I don't know if the codes mean anything different. Could this be why I'm losing so much performance from my car and some ticking noises could be there or is it going to be costly to fix? Or is this another reason to tear it down? I haven't really be able to do the compression test but I will do it soon.
