Just bought an '01 A4 1.8T. WHAT DO I DO?
I just picked up a 2001 A4 1.8T. It has 157k miles but it is all highway miles and the only way I know that is because the previous owner was my aunt. It was only $4k soI thought is was a pretty good deal. Anyways, this is my first Audi and I didn't really want to touch anything on it before I started to ask around. So any ideas on what I should do first in order to make this thing last?
^lol...nice link....
read the newb guide....
congrats on the purchase, sounds like it's time for a new timming belt....
take it to a certified audi/VW mechanic and have them once over the car....they will write you a love list of all that needs to be done....
My car was running/driving perfectly and I ended up with a $5k lovelist [&:], there are alot of things that need to be replaced every 100k...
alright, well grats!
