what are the steps we are supposed to take after we get our ECU back?? i dont really want to ride in my car if its goign to shutter or anything id rather have it work correctly for fear it will jar something loose or idk, but anyone installed theirs yet on a manual? hit me back!!

I've had my manual chipped by them since Dec. not a single problem, no shuddering or CELs, just

Kinda makes me regret spending soo much on the full APR ECMS system. Considering I didn't even go 100 this summer. Arggghhh

I'm just wondering why'd you get chipped if you're planning on a BT soon?

Nice...Nice... Glad it turned out good! Hows the throttle response with your chip? I love it with the GIAC! So much more responsive and torquey. I've only got mine up to about 17psi...thinkin I need to adjust my wastegate to squeeze a little more out.

Oh, the other thing is how is your boost off the line? Mine stays low in first unless I really get on it and I get a lil kick out action

No more mbc it's sittin in my door... He would not flash me with the mbc said it will always be runnin lean or rich. Gettin the damn flash would have taken care of my whole huge ordeal I was having originally. Must have been a problem within the mapping chip? He said if any problems occur and I still have to get a new ECU that the GIAC is free and only have to pay the $75 again to install.

Throttle response improved nicely, especially at hway speed, which is very nice heading up the mountain. Boost is lower in 1st and 2nd than it is in 3rd and 4th with this chip as well.

Yea I had to take my mbc off too, throttle response is great, I'm getting same.. 17psi, and also in 1st little boost unless I get on it, 3rd is where it starts to unleash all it's power, I also noticed my tiptronic shifting is 100x better, once I press up it shifts up no lag. My car is a lot more fun to drive now.... Just I need to drive 100 miles by tomorrow so i can get inspected.

Dude that is 76mb! Might want to try compressing it/use photobucket or youtube to host.
I said you should do a 0-60 video, not drive around gear hunting and blowing off boost the whole time! lol Might want to try using tip mode to hold a gear so there isn't so much up/down shifting. We would be able to get a better idea of the powar if you stayed in the 2k-4.5k range holding 3rd gear. Thanks though, I can tell the chip makes a difference, it's just hard to gauge because your driving is so inconsistent. Try swapping your intake for the stock air box, I promise you will notice greater low end tq.
