Default Koni strut adjustments

Greetings!
I have a 96 A4 2.8 currently have the Eibach por kit and dampners, replacing them with Koni sport struts, I know they recommend leaving the factory setting but does anyone have expereince with the higher setting? I curious if the increase of one notch ( 20% firmer ) would be a little too stiff, I do drive around the NYC area...roads can be rough.
Thanks for your input!

We can't really answer that as "too stiff" is subjective - we all have our own ideas of what stiffness is just right. If you're already getting them then you'll have to experiment. I imagine they're externally adjustable and can be tweaked on the car. If not, I'd leave them alone and try them out as-is. If they suit your driving habits you're good. If not then adjust them.
