I've gotta take my '01 2.8 Quattro in for some service and I'm looking for a good, honest and hopefully affordable mechanic in the Los Angeles area. Any suggestions?

most any service that your car needs you can do yourself

I used to live in Santa Monica, while i could definitely find some decent shops, labor prices are ridiculous...

if you go into the regional forums, id bet you could find a member on here who could help you out for a 12 pack
