Looking for advice regarding Audio System
I have a 98 A4 1.8T with the 8 speaker bose sound system and the typical trunk mounted 6 disc cd changer. Recently my cd changer has decided to crap out on my, and despite removing it from the car and trying to dissect it it still has my magazine and discs, the mechanism that controls disc switching and ejection seems to be seized up or just completely fried,
What I'm looking for is the best cost effective option, I don't want to lose any of the quality the bose system brought me nor do I want to spend several hundred to put in an all new system...ideas?

If you have an iPod, an adapter that will charge and play can replace your CD changer all together. I don't have the Bose option so I'm not sure about the differences in the headunit itself.
