Quote: Thanks that's alot of what I was looking for, i mean even after engine upgrades and brakes I'm still looking at 5k, is it really so wrong to wanna make my own S4, I don't just wanna buy one and call it good, I like making things my own
You might want to just stop saying S4. You either want to do a 2.7t swap into your A4 or you want to modify your 1.8t so that it is making 2.7t power.

If you want to talk about making big power on a 1.8t hit me up. Mine makes more then 800chp.

that's what I was looking for, thank you "Mike"...little did I realize that calling a modded A4 an aftermarket S4 would stir up so much resentment, Yes I am looking to make the 1.8T produce the amount of power found in an S4...read between the lines people

Not a matter of reading between the lines. You need to spell out what you plan to do, not because the membership is dumb but because there are so many ways to upgrade/convert/transform a car. You could transplant a 2.7T into your car along with all the other stuff needed to actually make an "S4". If that's not your plan, then say it clearly, that you want to make S4 power on your 1.8T, so people can properly refer you to the FAQ at the top where all your modding questions have been spelled out and detailed thoroughly. If you hurry you might be the first new guy to actually read it.

Quote: I currently have a 98 Audi A4 B5 1.8T 5speed manual quattro, stock in every way...now I am gonna be deploying soon and plan to save most of my money and buy a commuter when I get home but want to turn my A4 into an after market S4, I'm looking for suggestions on replacement parts and links to places I can buy from.
Theres no reading between lines when the tile says MAKING AN S4 and the first post says "turn my A4 into an after market S4"
