Hi y'all!
I drive a 98, A4 2.8 Quattro and I this morning I heard a thud when shifting. I did not drive it aggressively the night before so the noise just appeared for no apparent reason. This happens when I shift in low gears, 1st & 2nd, a thud sound coming from the rear. I can also hear this thud when I keep the car in low gear and tap on the gas ever so slightly without using the clutch.
Did anybody here ever experienced this problem? Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
