Default Lucas oil one in a while?

My family is big on using a quart of lucas every 2-3 oil changes and they've been bugging me to start using it. I'm currently using castrol syntec fully synthetic european blend. So would you periodically use one quart of lucas in your oil changes? I have a 1998 audi 2.8

I know some people that swear by the stuff. I've never used it personally but I have subjected my crankcase to a couple of seafoam treatments and I am currently running a cycle of some stuff called Auto-Rx to try and correct some neglect from the previous owners (so far it appears to be working as advertised but only time will tell).

Bottom line, I guess, is that I don't believe it will cause you any harm and only you can determine if you will benefit.

I mean I don't really need it, I was just wondering if anyone else was doing it. Whatever my car needs it gets, lol don't like expensive repair costs that could have been prevented.
