my 99 a4 2.8 has a problem with manual transmission 1st gear its making noise when driving on it. I was told its nothing to worry about everything works fine, the noise is being made by the gear not fully engaging lets say only have of it is because the push pins are loose or somthing like that and they can be adjusted by regulating a screw that's controlling 1st gear.

if any1 has some knowledge about manual transmission and could verify that this could be the problem and maybe explain or advise how to do it or if its even worth doing
