Default Tb adaption

How do i do it? I got
a new ecu thats same code and also from a quattro manual but when i installed it and started the car it surged between 600 and 200 rpms almost stalling constantly. I heard this will solve that. Thoughts? How to?

You will need a Vag-Com or a 5052 to do a throttle adaption.

turn the key to turn the electric on and let it sit you should hear some electric actuators and **** moving under the hood let it sit for 3-5 min that should do it. I'm not sure if its the same level of adaption as vag com but i know that a tb adaption and it works

It's not as precise as forcing it with Vagcom but do it 3x with a few minutes between each and it'll get you pretty close. From that point, the ECU will learn the rest on its own with some driving.
