its come time to swap out my timing belt /etc /etc /etc as im getting over 100k (i know its over-due) but anyhow

has anyone ever done this before and want to lend me a hand? or does anyone know a good shop that specializes in audi/vw maintenance?????? i just cant bring myself to bring it to a dealership for this one the place i asked said it would be $1200 ATLEAST (w/labor and parts)

hum. if i could get it done for a couple hundred (just labor) i would be VERY happy. I will be buying the kit from ECS tuning cause i have heard good things about them from fellow members.

I go to college in WI not too far from the mn border so im close to minneapolis, but i live in st. cloud so anywhere around the cities or north would be awesome

$500-$700 is the going rate for an independent shop not including parts. Get the parts and take a road trip to Ohio and I'll do it for a case of beer!

Strippers would be great for holding the nuts. Just don't ask them to lube your crank, at least not in my garage!
