Default More questions, interior!

I'm tearing apart my interior right now. I have the "oh sh**" handles off, the middle visor, the driver and passenger visors unscrewed but dangling, the B pillars unhooked but dangling on the seat belts, the reading light/sunroof switch is dangling and the front and rear trim pieces pulled off. Now I need your help. The A pillars supposedly just pull off? I've been pulling at the top part with no luck, any techniques to remove this? Also the C & D pillars I'm not too sure about. I could just check the Bentley manual, but I'm lazy. The driver/passenger visors are a PITA. How do I get the sunroof switch unhooked? Hahaha. Any help would be GREAT.

The A pillars have a screw and clips. I have an 01 and my screw is behind that airbag tag. After that, it is just clips.

According to Jeremy (ImTheDevil) and Alex (Aledelicicanneverrememberthenumbers) my car shouldn't have screws. The three clips seem simple enough, however I can't seem to get them! Kills my fingers. Any techniques?

Right - if you don't have pillar bags they just pull off.

You have to take the pillar off all the way to the bottom, unbolt the belt anchoring bolts, and feed the belts up and through (think that's how my friend did it on his Passat). I haven't done them yet - gonna do them when I do my headliner.

Exactly what I did. Found out I didn't need to remove the piece when pulling the carpet, but it was nice to know how to do it for future use!!!

I have a 96 and my A-pillars just pop off......albeit using much force.
