yeah i agree, but (let's just say for the sake of argument, i had a GIAC chipped k03 setup) if i pulled up to you and wanted to race, then beat you, you wouldn't feel so hot, right? all cause i spent the extra $250

Thats a rhetorical question. Of course I wouldnt feel so hot. But you dont know who would win. Let's say we raced and I won with my Inmotion chipped A4, you would feel worse. Not only did you lose a racelost, you alsowasted $250 extra doing it.
Now, I'm not saying I would necessarilywin, but you get the point.Thereisn't any bad data/information/reputation against Inmotion. As more people try it more will buy it, andI strongly beleive it will be as popularas GIAC or APR or REVO or Neuspeed or WETTerauer.

I actually registered to this forum just to post about Inmotion. I ordered a GTRS quiet a while ago, and was looking for local tuners. Some one over on a different audi forum suggested Inmotion. Needless to say called them up talked to James(owner), and he seemed really knowledgeable. We ended up custom dyno tuning it at Torque Freaks before they closed their dyno and I was really satisfied. I hit peak HP with a 3" exhaust, stock injectors(01 which runs the 282cc injectors), stock SMIC, 5 bar FPR, and a GTRS(still running the k03 outlet at the time) of about 245 FWHP. Car was running a bit rich at the time to prepare(can't remember what the exact AFR was) for the 3" inlet, hotter conditions, etc.

Overall I'm very satisfied. We brought it on the dyno and tweaked a K04 program of his. Because of this I'm ran into some boost problems. Pulled logs, and the ECU was recieving more boost than requested. Clamped the diode, ran a MBC, and needless to say the o2 sensor values are still great throughout the run all the way to 22 PSI. Now I'm shooting for 275ish FWHP on pump gas, after the 3" Inlet, Test pipe, FMIC, GTRS outlet.

Pulls like a raped ape. Sadly I really haven't had to chance to run anything other than a GT Mustang which walked me like nothing on the way to a casino one night.

yeah, i've heard a lot of good response to the inmotion chip too, i've been looking at them for a while on ebay and they have been selling for the buy it now price which is probobaly why they are'nt taking $150 for them anymore. when i chip my 1.8t i'll more than likely go with inmotion, unless i find a better deal which is unlikely, andeven if you pay the buy it now and pay to ship your ecu to them it is still a lot cheaper than other companies.

Inmotion: Great Chip/company. I've had my Inmotion chip for months now without a CEL and still pushing 16 PSI. Car feels strong and great. Thumbs up to them
