Yeah I love the GoPro. Trying to use it more. Recently got the LCD touch screen for it.

I guess it's time to replace my ECT sensor. Hasn't gone off for about 3 weeks now, I was hoping it was going to but I guess not. Where is the best/cheapest place to get the part? I prefer OEM.

Replaced my CTS today. Easy job once I found out where it was. Forgot my common sense today though because as I pulled out the sensor I was greated with a splash of coolant. Never released the pressure from the tank, really had no idea I had to. I will be stopping by my mechanic tomorrow though as now my coolant is below the MIN line.

Engine light was still on when I started the car after I replaced it. Guessing I just need to have it cleared by autozone or similar store.

Oh? I have some ideas.

- Replace the coolant expansion tank
- Remove that sticker on the driver's shock tower
- Clean the dirt off the intake manifold and throttle body
- Trace the outline of the fluid tank cap's logos in silver
- I see two small brown spots by the left shock tower bolt, maybe dirt
- Replace all of the visible fasters with stainless steel
- The throttle body hose clamp looks a corroded
- That grommet below the hard fuel lines could be cut out and plugged with a piece of delrin bar
- You could replace the old spring style hose clamps with stainless worm clamps
- If you really wanted to get into it you could file down all the casting marks on the intake manifold, smooth it out, and bead blast/paint/powder coat.

I actually really appreciated the list. Thanks you.

Now if only you posted links for the things you suggested...

- Replace the coolant expansion tank
Drain coolant (or don't, but it will be messy), disconnect coolant lines and level sensor plug, replace tank, refill coolant and bleed system.

- Remove that sticker on the driver's shock tower
I like to use Goo Gone to remove stickers. Be careful about rubbing too hard and removing the paint, the clear coat is very thin in the engine bay.

- Clean the dirt off the intake manifold and throttle body
WD40 + rag + energy. If that's not enough, dab a little acetone onto the grime. Still not enough? Lightly use a wire brush, you can scratch the manifold this way though.

- Trace the outline of the fluid tank cap's logos in silver
Remove caps, acquire silver sharpie, trace. Take your time, don't color outside the lines.

- I see two small brown spots by the left shock tower bolt, maybe dirt
See above. WD40 cures all.

- Replace all of the visible fasters with stainless steel
Remove fasteners one by one and match at hardware store with stainless steel replacements. I suggest doing this little by little so you don't bawk at the total price. I probably spent $40-50 on stainless steel bolts, nuts, and washers.

- The throttle body hose clamp looks a corroded
WD40 + wire brush. Or just replace it. Best to use Norma brand (or any non-segmented brand) hose clamps.

- That grommet below the hard fuel lines could be cut out and plugged with a piece of delrin bar
See here.

- You could replace the old spring style hose clamps with stainless worm clamps
See above.

I spent ~3 years working on my intake manifold on and off. It was something I would spend an hour on here and there when I was bored. I used a grinder to knock down the big stuff and then used a rat tail file to remove the casting marks between the runners and shape the curves. After that I used an air powered sander to run through the grits and polish it out. Then I bead blasted it and ran it through a parts washer to clean it out.

The result:
