Do a visual inspection of the lines you can see to judge their condition. The intake manifold to DV line is one of the more important ones, along with the line to the FPR which can be easily replaced.

There are a number of lines coming off the intake manifold, you can reach all of them by just moving the coolant tank though. I use a dremel to grind off the locking tab (being careful not to nick the hose) on Audi's clamps and then use a flat head to pry them open.

I'm after more turbo noise but part of me doesn't want to mess with the stock airbox setup because it just looks so nice and clean. Much cleaner than it would look with a cone filter there.

I'm leaning towards just replacing the filter in the stock airbox. I know I won't gain anything but won't have to buy another filter again.

Thoughts from anyone appreciated.

If you pay shipping I have a aFe panel filter you can have, bought it with the car but when I went frankenturbo I went to a cone. If you want more turbo noise drill holes in the bottom of the airbox (not joking lol)

I've read about that. "Swiss cheese mod"

I think I'll take that filter off your hands. How's the condition of it? Like I said I was looking at probably getting a dry filter to put in the stock air box.

It's in good shape, you should rinse it out since it's probably kinda dirty but it has lots of life left. Pm me your address and I'll ship it out to you when I get a chance

Welcome to the , interior LED club! Looks awesome!

I got mine from here, though. ----> http://krautoparts.com/products/audi...terior-led-kit

The guy that owns the site is a regular on the B5 threads. I am surprised the regulars, didn't steer you to him as he has very good deals on a entire kit from the interior and exterior lights for the trunk and plate lights.

Pretty good deal actually. I didn't do the red lights on the doors because I didn't think there would be much change. I do need to get the 2 footwell bulbs because for some reason those 2 bulbs had a weird base while the others were bars.

I'll probably get back up lights eventually.
