Yeah I've see it all over these forums. Where do you have yours installed? Vent?

This is a pic of the configuration I had in my old car:

Same spot in my newer car (same vent too) but not pillar gauge (old car was AEB, newer car is AWM, so it has wideband built-in).

Cool, thats the vent where I'm going to try and put mine. How did you do yours? Drill? Cut? I've asked many people just to see what seems to work best.

It's been so long, I don't actually remember how I cut the hole haha.
Would guess I used a Dremel with one of the drill-bit-loooking side-cutting tool. I think it's the one they intend to be used to cut drywall.

Boost gauge arrived today. I'm going to attempt to put it in the drivers side vent. HERE WE GO!

**subscribed** nice work so far...i have always been a fan of the OEM radio in my B5 but for some reason that system you have looks pretty good! Quick question where did you get your grill? i have the s4 honeycomb grill but have been thinking of switching to the one you are running

I agree, I like how OEM stuff looks usually but I'm very happy with the radio. I was so use to bluetooth and everything in my other car it was hard to see myself without out it.

The grill came with it when I bought it. I thought it was the stock one, it isn't? It may look different because I plasti dipped the chrome around the edge. I like the look of the honeycomb grill.

Installed the boost gauge! I needed up going with the left center vent. I figured it would be difficult to see the gauge while driving on the drivers side due to the steering wheel and where your hands are positioned at times. Happy with how it turned out. Pictures next week as I'm on vacation away from my car now.

Where is the cheapest place to get a forge 007 DV?

How much of your time driving do you intend to stare at it?
It's never been an issue for me, but I'm 6'3" and my head nearly touches the headliner with the seat all the way down and angled forward as far as it goes.

I don't want to have to struggle to look at it when I want to that's all.
