so here is the deal. My mom was driving my car (im at college) and she ran the front bumper over a curb and cracked/ripped it off. She is replacing the bumper. I asked if she could get the s4 bumper cause I like the look and i was pretty sure that it would just bolt on. Now, the body shop guy tells her that the car need new fenders too. I was pretty sure it didnt. Any idea if he is right or not?

yeah i really didnt think so. such a PITA...my life is run by murphy's law. All I have is pictures of the damage. I just figured it would be a bolt on.

 

The way I understood it from past posts (though I'm not positive), is that the S4 bumper works just fine with A4 fenders, but it won't bolt onto an A4 unless you get the bumper mounts as well as the bumper cover itself. The A4 bumper mounts won't work.
