Default Need anything off my B5?

So the original 2001 Audi (1st of 5 for our family, so far ) is headed to the scrap yard after 235k miles. Was still running (with some issues) but I need the cylinder head for our new to us B6 Cabrio. If there is something you want that I can pull quickly and ship via Priority Mail for the cost of shipping and, say, $10 for my time, let me know.

Do you have the exterior trim on the bottom of the doors for both sides of the car? My cars at the shop or I would take a picture of what I mean. Or the in dash cupholder?

Default Wrecked B5

I will be parting out or selling whole my wrecked 1998 B5 quattro soon. A few months ago I got run off the highway by a drunk driver passing me going about 100 mph and cutting back into my lane nearly into the side of my car, I made an abrupt evasive manuever, ended up in the ditch and hit a concrete culvert at 50 mph. Splat. If the 20 yr old airbags would not have fired, I'd be dead. Still got a bad concussion, bruised ribs, fractured wrist out of the deal. Other driver sped away. Have given up hope on ever finding the culprit since his pickup looks exactly like 200+ other GM pickup trucks just like it , same color and everything, in the immediate area.

Anyway, I had replaced every moving part in the front suspension prior to the wreck, it handled like a brand new car :-(. The collision with the culvert shaved most of the suspension out from under the car. Shaved the sump off the bottom of the engine so the block is probably toast now. I found the oil pump and chain drive laying in the ditch afterwards. Cylinder heads and top side engine parts probably still good... was a 30 valve AHA 2.8L V6 with 5-speed. Entire engine and transaxle assemble has been pushed back into the firewall, including left front axle torn out.

I dunno what it's worth yet, but it'll need to get out of my driveway soon.

I just bought a 2003 A4 with 3.0L V6 and 6-speed manual stick shift as my replacement. New car has only 53k miles and is like-new, going to pick it up today

I can tell you it's worth about $154 plus $10 for the battery plus whatever you can get for the rims if you take them off when when the scrapyard forklift pulls it up off the trailer. Maybe a bit more if you cut out the cats and scrap them individually. Glad your car protected you post idiot, sounds like you found a nice replacement.

And I was gonna bust your ***** for hijacking my thread, but since you're an RV guy too, and mine put me in a great mood for the day after a $100 breakfast, I'll give you a pass.
